Everything You Need to Know About Avila Lighthouse Suites

Welcome to Avila Lighthouse Suites! Below, find the information you need to answer any questions you may have about your upcoming stay at our Avila Beach hotel.   • What time is check-in? Check-in begins at 4 PM daily. 
  • When is check-out? Visit us at the Front Desk or leave your keys in the room by 12 PM. 
  • Is late check-out available? Late check-outs may be requested, but not guaranteed. Late check-out is based on availability and extra fees may apply. Please contact the hotel directly to request a late check-out. 
  • Do you have on-site parking? Yes, we offer complimentary underground self-parking (1 car per suite). We even offer a Tesla electric car charging station for your eco-friendly needs.
  • Does Avila Lighthouse Suites provide free Wi-Fi? For all your business or social media needs, our high-speed Fiber Internet connectivity is complimentary. 
  • Does the hotel provide complimentary breakfast? Yes, for daily grab & go breakfast visit The Galley located between suites 118 & 119, from 7 - 10 AM.
  • How do I access the pool & hot tub? In accordance with the new policies mandated by local and state authorities, the pool and hot tub have limited occupancy restrictions in place and reservations are required. Reservations can be made at check-in.  We appreciate your patience and respect as we do our best to navigate the new requirements.
  • Where do I get equipment for games on the Sun Deck? Game equipment is available at the Front Desk for complimentary use. Enjoy a game of life-size checkers or try out the putting green on our family-friendly play deck.  
  •  Do you allow smoking on property, or in the rooms? No, no smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted anywhere at the hotel. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
  • What is the hotel's pet policy? Avila Lighthouse Suites does not allow pets on the property. We apologize for any convenience and appreciate your cooperation! 
  • I forgot my sunblock... Forget something? No problem! Our lobby is fully stocked with beach essentials like towels, toys, sunblock, apparel, and more available for purchase.
  • How does Avila Lighthouse Suites conserve water? We are limiting water our use by placing biodegradable cups in room, replacing towels left on the floor, & changing sheets every 3rd day of your stay (unless requested). Please feel free to contact the front desk to request glassware.

  • What is your cancellation policy? All reservations must be canceled at least 72 hours before arrival date to avoid penalty. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will be charged the first night's room and tax upon cancellation.
  • What is your incidental hold policy? Upon check-in, we will place a hold on your card in the amount of room and tax plus $150, in case of any incidental charges. If a debit card is used, the authorization will appear as an actual charge and the remaining funds will be refunded at check out. The refund can take up to 7 business days to process.
  • Does Avila Lighthouse Suites charge a resort fee? No, as one of the few hotels in Avila Beach that does not charge a daily resort fee, we take pride in offering our guests complimentary high-speed Fiber Internet connectivity, self-parking, and daily grab & go breakfast without an extra fee.
  • How will the Coronavirus (COVID-19) impact my stay at a Martin Resorts hotel? As our guest, your health and safety come first. We are taking proactive measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and guests by instituting enhanced disinfection protocols.   • How do I get to the hotel? Nestled in the heart of Avila Beach, Avila Lighthouse Suites is easily accessible from Highway 101 via Avila Beach Drive. From the South, take the exit for Avila Beach Drive. From the North, take the exit for San Luis Bay Drive. 
  • Where is the nearest airport? Avila Lighthouse Suites is approximately 10 miles from San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport with daily flights operated by Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, and United.
  • What kind of public transportation is available? A free trolley service connects you from the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets all the way to Port San Luis via Avila Beach, Avila Valley, and various resort hotels in Shell Beach and Pismo Beach.   • Is your hotel affiliated with any airlines for mileage points? As a Martin Resorts property, you can earn 500 Alaska Airline miles per qualifying stay at Avila Lighthouse Suites by booking direct. Must mention you are an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan member at check-in.
