UPDATES FOR GROUPS & EVENTS DURING COVID-19

Book with Confidence: Relaxed Cancellation Policies

We’ve made our cancellation policy more flexible. All aspects of group block and event are fully refundable or transferrable if canceled due to current COVID-19 regulations (not applicable for weddings). We’ve lowered our initial group or event deposit to 20% which is refundable until 30 days from arrival.

At Avila Lighthouse Suites, your health and safety come first. We are actively monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates from the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the County of San Luis Obispo Health Department and will continue to respond based on the best advice and recommendations of governments, public health authorities, and medical professionals. As the uncertainty surrounding the novel coronavirus increases, we want to take this opportunity to update you on what we’re doing to minimize risk to your group and our team members.

  • Temporary group packages featuring individual food options
  • All A/V equipment will be sanitized before and after each day of meetings.
  • All high touch-point areas will be sanitized periodically throughout the day
  • All food and beverage offerings will be prepared and served according to mandated CDC guidelines.
  • Staff will engage with the client by following social distancing guidelines.

Please note that we adhere to currently enforced county and state mandates. Should a scheduled event be outside of the current mandates, our sales team will advise on the best steps to move forward.
